Language Requirements - Bachelor's Degree (Exchange Students)
All courses are taught in Spanish, except for the VirCamp module and the Minor programme. A minimum B1 level of Spanish is recommended (C2 required for the Practicum). If only courses in English are taken, no Spanish certificate is needed, but an English certificate is required (minimum B1, recommended B2).
The English or Spanish Certificate can be issued by an oficial body, the home university, a language course, the Duoling English Test, or the online language test (OLS - Online Linguistic Support, Erasmus+ programme), as long as it meets the required minimum level.
Basic Spanish is recommended for incoming students to facilitate daily life at the university and beyond (administration, facilities, etc.).
The Faculty of Social Work and the UCM are not responsible for any issues caused by lack of Spanish.
