Language Requirements - Bachelor's Degree (Exchange Students)


All courses are taught in Spanish, except for the Minor Programme and the VirCamp Project, which are taught in English.

Applicants who have completed their previous studies in the required language, or who are nationals of a country where that language is official, are exempt from submitting a language certificate. Supporting documentation must be provided.

Local and SICUE students are not required to submit a language certificate, as these courses form part of the UCM Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.



Language Certificates and Recommendations

 

An English or Spanish language certificate may be issued by an oficial institution, the home university, a language school, or the Online Linguistic Support platform (OLS - Erasmus+), provided that it certifies the required minimum level of B1.          

A basic knowledge of Spanish is recommended for incoming students to facilitate everyday communication at the university and beyond (administration, facilities, etc.).

The Faculty of Social Work and the UCM are not responsible for any difficulties caused by insufficient Spanish language skills.
